Table Size

The size of the table depends on the size of the ball you are using.

Use these measurements as a guide:

• Min Table length: ball size × 66
• Min Table width: two thirds of the table length

For example:

• 14 mm ball: table length 924 mm, table width 616 mm
• 25 mm ball: table length 1650 mm, table width 1100 mm
• 50 mm ball: table length 3300 mm, table width 2200 mm

This gives the table a good shape for play and helps the game feel balanced.

Astrolabe Placement

Place one Astrolabe halfway up the table.

Place the other two Astrolabes above it, with equal space between them.

Keep the bottom half of the table open so the ball has room to move.

Gutters and Walls

You can add gutters along both sides of the table and across the top.

You can also add a short wall on each side, starting about one third of the way up the table.

To make the game easier, extend the side walls all the way to the top.

If you want to make a narrower table, the side walls should run the full length of the table. This is because rebound balls are more likely to go straight into the gutters on a narrow layout.

On narrower tables, you can leave out the side gutters and just use a ball-catching channel at the end of the table for shots that go off the end.
